Unsightly scarring? Exactly how often do other people get a look at your penis? Yeah there are some problems. It takes about 4 - 6 weeks to heal and you need to be careful before and after sex. You really should think about this before going for it. Frankly I can't think of a single person I know who would go through with this but to each his own.

If you stay at a pretty small gauge while you have it, then you would heal up with no problems. If you gauge up to a 0ga or the like it will be a permanent modification, but so what? The wife and I love mine!
I say if you are thinking about doing it, go for it. Ask any guy that has one, but listening to those who don't is pointless, they only speak from ignorance.
