Ebay will take time and money; local collectors won't pay you anything (if you get $5 for 100 cards, let me know where you go as I am coming too!).
Goodwill isn't a "feel-good" thing either as they will have trouble doing anything with it (more than likely they will collect dust somewhere on some shelf.
I like the one option of giving them to a local kid (cousin, friend-of-the family). If that is not an option, call up the local YMCA, or local church group and ask them to be given to kids aged 6-12. At least you can be assured that they will be enjoyed by someone.

Give them away - if they have little value and mean nothing to you, find a kid who loves baseball and give them to him. He'll probably spend hours looking at them and learning about the game as a result. If you're having a pre-moving sale, put them in a couple of boxes and sell them for a couple of bucks each. Either one works.

the comic shop near my house sells sports cards, i sold the dealer back a bunch of junk cards because he uses them in grab bags, so go to a dealer, and see if he will buy your junk cards in bulk, say 5 bucks for every 100 cards.

I know you don't want to throw them away but I'm afraid you're going to have to, they hold no value and they are just taking up space.
