I'm having my 11th birthday party. I want it to be girly and have manicures and facials but I'm afraid to tell my mom because she might think I'm too young. But I already know about sex and puberty, I'm already wearing a bra! I'm just afraid...What should I do?

say "mom, is it ok if for my party we do mini-makeovers and paint our nails and stuff?" if she says no, that you are too young, ask about just doing each others hair and stuff. it's not like you are going to go out wearing tons of make-up and stuff. maybe if you let her join in, she will think it is really fun! good luck.

Tell your mom, how's she suppose to know what you prefer if you don't tell her. What's the worst that can happen? She says no. If you don't try you will never know. Jeez, I hope my daughter is never that afraid to tell me something.
By the way what does sex and puberty have to do with manicures and facials?

Well, you could do the old "(Friend's name here) had a facials and manicures birthday party and I think it's a neat idea" routine. Or, you could just say it to here plain and simple. Telling the truth never hurts, and it's not like you're asking for something that's wrong.

I went through this with my 12 year old. We decided to have a "Spa Slumber Party" and did facials,nails,hair and "modeled" the after looks. The girls all had a wonderful time and my daughter even included me. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your mom about it, maybe write her a little note. Just try to include her in your party, we moms are happiest when we see our kids are happy.I hope this helps and Happy Birthday!

nicely, at the start, your mom might desire to assist your determination to leave and if she does not it is her problem. It looks like she is attempting to stay her targets by using you and that may not the way it is going to be. i might merely be right this moment up along with her and tell her which you hate it and you opt to bypass to a distinctive college and do it. yet i assume if she is paying it is an entire different venture.

I think she would probably be overjoyed to throw you whatever kind of girly party you want if you promise to stop talking/thinking about sex and puberty. I know I would.

your not to young to be a girly girl and get your nails done and such
