I have pcos. I had my son a year ago with the help of clomid? I would go months without having a period before my son was born. Since he was born , my periods have become normal, every 30 days, and I seem to stay hot all the time since he was born. What has caused me to start having normal periods again, when before my son was born, I rarely ever had any? What is the deal with feeling hot all the time, I feel like I'm on fire?

I have PCOS too and we used Clomid to conceive our first child as well. I'm sorry the other reply was so rude. Often times after having a child you can experience a lessened-version of PCOS. I experienced the same thing, both times. :) After my daughter was born I went on the Pill for a while. Then I went off of it and started having periods here and there which was odd for me. Then all of the sudden my periods became normal and came every month. Then they stopped suddenly. I thought the PCOS was just "back again" so I didn't worry. My daughter was 3 at the time! And come to find out... I was pregnant again! We hadn't been using protection because it took us three rounds of Clomid to conceive our daughter. This was a natural conception and I was 3 months pregnant before I took a test (started having similar symptoms from first pregnancy - not having periods wasn't one of the "symptoms" since I just thought that was PCOS-related). It's weird, it's almost like when you got pregnant it reminded your body to function properly. It has to do with the hormones and everything but I don't know specifics, I'm sorry. I just know that it's common in women with PCOS.

As for the feeling hot all the time I don't know. I'm kind of feeling the opposite lately and it's weird. My son is now 7 months old and for the first time in my life... I feel cold all the time. ?? I am 31... how old are you? It is just our whacky hormones, I'm sure!!!

Best of luck.... and use protection if you don't want a little surprise sooner or later!!! :)
