Yesterday. The day before and the day after cancel each other out leaving yesterday.

if day after yesterday is ===> TODAY

therefore day before TODAY is ===> YESTERDAY

It is neither of your choices. It is 2 days ago. If today is Sunday, and yesterday, was Saturday, then the day before after yesterday would be Friday.
