Today my 4 year old was describing the father of his best friend; he said. "he wears a shiny head with just skin on it...." yep, the dad had a shaved head.... it took me a few moments to figure that out... I love the simplicity with wich they see things, don't you?

That's great. Mine always makes known who needs a bath while we're at the grocery store. It's a little embarrassing but it is the truth.

My wife used to buy a cheap box of cake mix and let the daughter help make a cake knowing she would make a mess, oh my goodness those were some funny days.

yes. i miss that show "kids say the darnedest things" with art linkletter.
i made a cake for my son's 5th birthday and the eggs were bad and made his little guests sick. it was horrible. out of exasperation i said "those frickin kroger eggs!" my son got upset and screamed "what, you fed us Freddy Krueger eggs! how could you?"
