I totally resent the fact that some ppl seem to think that people of Indian descent are voting for Sanjaya just because he is Indian too. I'm Indian. I hate Sanjaya. Everyone I know agrees that he can't sing... guy cannot sing to save his life!!! His sister probably has more talent in her pinky finger than he'll ever have in a lifetime.
I think he's very popular with the kids though... if you watched, you probably saw that little girl crying when he started singing. (My first thought was that she was scared!) Horrific performance. Parents should keep their kids away from the phone after that show.

WHAT.. stephanie gone and sanjaya is stillllll there.... that goes to show that american idol is now a joke!! you don't even have to be able to sing anymore, just get the popularity vote! isn't he the first contestant of indian decent? truely a race that sticks together... im sure he has his fan base no matter how awful he sounds...

Jorge replaced into eradicated 2d (and not saved via the judges)...i presumed Kelly's overall performance replaced into large! i admire Kelly. i admire that it did not sound like the album, it sounded relatively solid stay. She's very proficient and that i'm incredibly helpful she would be waiting to continuously be my well known American Idol!

There's an online site where they vote for the worst idol. I'm wondering if this is why some of the better singers are going home.

Yeah, it's Stephanie, but like other answerers I'm wondering why Steph is leaving, too. I tried voting for her, but the lines were busy a few times I tried, so I thought she was o.k. She had one of the best voices of them all, it's very weird how the voting is turning out this season so far.

By some sick twist of fate, Sanjaya is still in the game.
On his last audition (You Really Got Me), if I had shut my eyes, I could imagine that singing being on one of the horrid audition reels.
He totally sucks at singing, and I know I can't be the only one to think this.
