Are you the only one who thinks she is a drama queen? Surely you both have mutual friends that hang out together, talk with them and see what they think, she may just be insecure and needs the attention she gets by all the drama...and if that's the case, and you really want to be her good friend, just accept her for what she is and try to find out what it is that she is so insecure about and be there for her...

The same kinda problem was with ma friend also...she also used to do the same with me...look buddy if she is one of your closest friends then she wont feel bad if you will tell her to tsop doing this drama and stuff like that...i did the same and the problem got solved...you too try it...all the best...i hope she will understand..

Tell her it's OK for her to be a drama queen if her name is Meryl Streep, but since she's not, she better knock it down about ten notches. She's seeking attention or she wouldn't be a drama queen.

Refuse to play the drama game. If you do not respond to or get caught up in the dramatics she loses her audience and it becomes pointless. She will stop. Of course if your function in her eyes is to be an audience your friendship will suffer.

You should purchase her a note pad and pencil. Tell her she is wasting her life away and she should be writing this stuff down. When she has enough of it, you will help her find a publisher.

in my experience if youre really close with her you should set her down and politely let her know your opinion she may be upset at first but after she gets over her intial shock shell be grateful you had the courtesy to tell her
