The sex drive center is in the brain.Somehow he has it in his brain that the "feeling of sexual desire has diminished and only "perks up " when ,with someone different. Both he and his wife have to work at waking up the sexual stimulation for each other.Try getting away on a mini-love weekend..Make it a fun game ... waiting for the moment to happen is part of the build up to the excitement. Use your imagination..find the spark and put it back in your love life.

I would like to answer this question seriously, but the problem isn't with his wife, it's with him. Tell him to get a divorce, honestly. There is no saving a marriage where he's already had "healthy sexual relationships" with other women. Do his wife a favor and just leave. By the way, your friend is a low-life.

It sounds like this guy is using his wife as an excuse for his infidelity. Let's pretend his wife stopped wanting sex from him for a year now. He has the option to divorce or separate from her. What does he do instead? Cheat.
He wants to be able to have the stability of a wife and a home AND the life of a single man. He can't have them both since he is supposed to be in a committed relationship. :)

Seriously sounds like this guy needs serious counseling. Question---does she nag and nit pick at him? Find fault a lot with him? That would take away the sexual desire for his wife. If he does not feel respected by her. Or, is he just wanting to "experiment" with others? Please suggest to him that he and his wife get some really good counseling, get to the root of this problem, and deal with it properly. Take care.

First off I'd say that his first mistake was not discussing this with his wife. I find that every married couple go through periods where they aren't attracted to each other. The trick is not to act on it but to find the problems and work on them. Working on problems is a lot harder than just going elsewhere.
Here is a website that is just for men. Nope I didn't read it. But maybe you, or your friend, should.

the "friend" needs to stop cheating. That is number one. Number two is that he may have a sexual addiction. Number three is that if he LOVES his wife, he will talk to her. He will do what it takes or get out of the marriage.
FYI.. Women can sense when a man is cheating even if they don't bring it up.. she may just be cheating on him too.. ;)

hmmm,,, friend eh! - OK I'll go with that... sounds like he has been cheating. It will be hard to bring that excitement back into the marriage. In most marriages you want to please your wife and desire comes and goes at different times depending on stress each is under. Your friend did no favor to himself of his wife by going outside to find the excitement he was needing. My advice is to just try to make it work if he wants it to. If not move on...

his cheating must stop, thats the first thing he can do. Many older men want a younger woman and tire of their wives when they hit a certain age---he needs to wake up and realize the women he sleeps with probably are just after his money.

How long has he been married?
Many times couples who have been together over many years lose interest in each other
That doesnt mean its ok to cheat.
