Yes, I did mean the Sheraton not 'sheaton. Do you know anything about the LE MERIDIAN HOTEL? thanks

Le Meridian hotels are typically geared for the business traveler who wants upper scale care. They aren't luxurious, but are typically a step above a Sheraton. The service is very business oriented.

I tend to avoid large chain hotels like Sheraton, Marriott, etc. I like smaller, boutique style hotels. San Francisco has a lot of this type of hotel. Check out my favorite collection of SF boutique hotels here:

I'm not familiar with the Le Meridian Hotel. I see that is located in the financial district though it isn't huge at 350 rooms it is larger than I personally would consider. Unless you are in San Francisco purely for business I'd suggest looking at hotels outside of the financial district because that area is a ghost town in the evenings.

Trip advisor is a great resource to check out hotels before you check in. They have reviews written by guests that will give you a idea of the range of experiences that guests have had with the hotel.
