And I'm not talking about web cam. I'm talking about talking about using a home phone and looking at your friends and family on a screen while you talk to them cross country. Being able to pack your phone in your suit case when you travel and still use it with additional charges. I mean your kids can see their grandparents daily even though they are in a different state.

You can the phone around the house and show off your home, new car, etc. You can also connect your home phone to the TV and see the person larger.

that would be neat. I would like to see all the face impressions and finally face to face instead of reach out and touch some one . Oh but what if you have to go to the wee wee ? can't take the phone with you.

I think it's a good idea...why wouldn't it?
You miss your love ones and looking at them while you talk to them when you are far away...makes sense to me to do it.
My Ma and I e-mail all the time but she is not fluent with that so we just talk on the phone or e-mail each other.
