hi,im nadia frm Singapore.t weathers pretty hot and humid at t moment.now tht mini, trapeze dresses & sorts are in fashion,i was wonderg if i cld wear tht on a first date.

its w this guy friend of mine whom ive already knwn for a few mths n were planning to catch a movie and prolly grab a bite after.

t mini dress is plain, somewht of a coral beige shade frm Topshop, made frm cotton w a hugging band at t hip n it has short sleeves.so t dress itself isnt tight and its airy in fact.it has a curved vneck cut where i was thinking i could wear a white sleeveless buttoned blouse underneath so i wont reveal too much.i was thinking of pairing it with a not-so-wide matte brown snakish skin belt to cover up the band with my purplish fuschia heels n probably a clutch/bag of t same colour.

overall its kind of a neutral pallete othr thn t heels n bag.

i really nd your opinions on this look,do u hv other ways t wear t dress or shld i go for anothr look?

im ard 1.66/7m & 44kg

THANKS((:

I would wear the dress, it sounds to me like you are excited about it. My advice on the makeup, is a light shimmery gold eyeshadow, with black mascara. Then take a light gloss and apply it to your lips. This will make your face look nice, but not overwhelming. See if you can get a little crop sweater type thing to throw over the dress. Then you can take it off to heat things up. Don't wear heels with it though, thtas too fancy. I would just wear ballet flats that match the dress. Have fun!

Never ever wear a mini skirt on your first date. First of all, mini skirts makes the guy think that you are too easy. Wear a skirt that is knee length. This time the guys will think that you are sexy, but you are also cute. Don't put a lot of makeup on because he'll think that you are hiding your beautiful face. A lot of guys think that girls who wear fake eyelashes, wig, those stuff are hiding underneath those materials. They want to see who you are. One more thing, never wear lipstick on your first date, just a hint of gloss. Lipsticks are so for people who are like mature. Let them see that you are cute!!! Good Luck!

i think the miini dress should only be bright and cute with pictures of fruit on it. Otherwise it is just....short. People will notice that there is the girl with the short dress. Not the girl that is cute and has a good sense of life and lives it. Go with some skinny jeans and a billow shirt. I don't think neutral is the way to go! Show some personaliTAY!

just be careful what you do and say around him because some guys will assume when you wear mini dresses you are implying something but if you compose yourself like a LADY and dont make any jokes about sex or implications about hooking up with him then you should be fine just watch yourself. i dont suggest it for a first date but you can pull it off if you are careful. and anyway, you shouldnt even go out with a guy who tries to sleep with you on the first date thats disrespectufl.

Hi there, I'm from Singapore too. I guess you probably have to see if this guy is going to like your type of dressing since you want to impress that person right? Your height and weight appear to be one of those skinny type of gals like me so i think what u are going to wear seems fine. One concern I have is how are u r because it will probably reflect how old you want to appear to be. That belt doesnt seems quite matching to me (visualising it). You might want to go for other colours and probably wide belts since u are tall enough to wear it. :)

Even though he is a friend all males have a sexual drive and by you putting that short skirt on you would be tempting him to touch you. Now if u want that then by all means go ahead but those are one of the main reasons beautiful women especially young women get raped. Please dont be nieve. you do know someone especially if it been a few months. beleive me looks are very deceiving. Even the hot guys can hurt you.

I,m a man ,and i think you would look a stunner wearing those clothe,s but watch out ,your b/f will be very excited and may try it on. If you don,t mind that,s all right. A sexy dressed girl is a turn on for any heterosexual man.

Only wear a mini dress if you want him to use you for his sexual pleasure. I'd recommend being more modest on a first date. That's assuming you are looking for a real relationship and not just a one night stand.

I would not wear anything "purplish" with a coral/beige outfit.
If you are wearin a brownish belt, try a brownish shoe with it. That would probably look a lot better.
