Okay, i had unprotected sex with my husband on the peak day of ovulation, which was the 6th of March, because I had my period on the 20th of Feb. So I was expecting my period on the 20th of March, but I didn't get it. 4 days after sex, i threw up all day long, and I haven't thrown up since highschool. Idont think morning sickness starts that soon does it? I have no kids, and no knowledge on these things. I have taken 2 different types of pregnancy tests every day since the middle of last week, and they all say negative. Could I be pregnant and still get a negative on the pregnancy test 2 days after my missed period?
Thanks so much!

I'm sure all of you know how LONG the days seem until you can test again! Thats why I test every morning, just incase!

You could be, yes. It's probably 50/50 as to whether you are or not.
Some people get that little red line on their test days after sex and others are actually pregnant and don't get one! Everyone's HCG levels are different.
Wait until you are a week late and test again. Saves wasting money on tests and feeling like an idiot at the doctors office. Do about 2-3 tests, even if the first one is positive, just to make sure.
It could be you actually caught something and that's why you were throwing up, and then that illness has made your period all over the place.
If you don't want to wait, just go see a doctor and get a blood test.

You probably wouldn't be getting so many negative results if you were actually pregnant.
Having sex on the peak days does not guarantee a pregnancy. Just ask anyone who's actually trying to have a baby! Even if you get everything right and you're healthy and all, you still only have a 1 in 4 chance that a pregnancy will "stick" so even though you seem to have put all the right things in place, it just wasn't your month.
The vomiting could simply have been food poisoning and your period being late could be caused by your concern about whether or not you're pregnant.

Yes, your pregnancy hormones may not be high enough for the urine test. This is the same test your Doctor will give you. If you want to know for sure this early on then you will need a blood test, but a blood test takes a while to get back and by then the urine test may register. You could always get a pelvic exam.
I showed negative for two weeks after my missed period with one of my sons and I showed positve after the first day of my missed period with another son. Every pregnancy is different. Until you know for sure, take care of yourself and the baby.

You could be pregnant, most home tests aren't accurate enogh to tell quite that soon, and some people don't respond to urine tests at all. I personally was never sick when pregnant with my first child, but I was sick every minute with my second, starting about 3 days after sex... at first I thought it was the flu, but after 3 weeks, I went to my doc and I was exactly 3 weeks pregnant.
I would wait a couple of more days, retest at home... and if still no period, go to doc for a blood test.
Good Luck!

I knew a lady that pregnancy tests did not work on...ever! I know a lady that got pregnant 3 different times...on the pill! Anything is possible. Yes, you could definitely be pregnant...or maybe you've just gotten worked up over all of this and it's thrown your cycle off. My SIL's first test came up negative, but she was pregnant. Try again in a couple of days.

I would not rule out being pregnant. Remember though, there was only 28 days last month, so that may be throwing you off. Hold off a few more days and try the home test again.

No darl, I don't think so. Morning sickness, if its going to happen (some women never experience it), will not appear until about two months after u have sex.
If u got sick, it must have been something u ate, love.
Sorry to burst ur bubble.
