hi hells! first thing u need to do is download and install itunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
once u get itunes installed, start itunes and then plug in ur ipod - itunes will walk u through the installation process of ur ipod.
then just go into the iTunes Store (look on the left-hand side of the itunes window for the "iTunes Store" link) - then browse around for songs and videos you'd like to download.
