My guess is lack of maturity, knowing they can get away with a lot more than most.

I don't know.. because if they're playing a much more mature role, they should know how the mature person feels like.

Usually the roles they play are more mature, and that's what makes them actors.....they are acting the part....believe me, if some of these celebs were chosen for roles judged by their personal life, they'd be out of work.....

Most live in a bubble and don't have a clue as to what it's like to exist out here in the real world. The ones that know or remember what it's like to be one of the "little people" like us don't act that way and often try to help fellow man. You never hear those stories because they're not tabloid worthy.

it shows how awful human beings can be, if you can give them money and constantly tell them they're better than everyone else. it would probably be the same effect with most people in the world. not all, though, of course. there are some nice celebs like tom hanks.

It takes a lot of energy to act in a role not your stereotype
as it calls for adding on age, not just makeup to look it.
In The Exorcist, Linda Blair could not have been me.
She used energy I need to live a life time on.
It's a struggle for younger actors to get the "gravy roles"
until they have proven themselves to critics, including us.
Given time, more will act & walk abreast with Tom Hanks,
Densel Washington and what's his name and hers.

When they do the roles, there is the Director, very visible and audible, calling the shots! In life, the Director is often silent, watching, not seen and heard!

the answer is in your question, they are playing a role, they are not being their everyday selves. and because they aree famous this makes them seem more immature of screen as they dont live in the real world, they are not down to earth, they are egomaniacs who do things for publicity.
