hey well i have a friend named melissa she is kinda a little fat n she really wants a belly piercing but she says she dont kno cuz she is kinda fat to have one what should i tell to do..or should she get one..??dont be offensive.

I know I should be all nice and politically correct and everything and just say yeah...she she go for it cause everyone is a different shape and we should like people for who they are. But honesty is more helpful.
The answer may depend on just how fat she is. In general, when I see an overweight person with a piercing, I think to myself OH dear lord, what did I do wrong to have may gaze purposely attracted to that glinting piece of jewelry, only to end up looking at some poor girls fat guts.' Maybe someone should just draw a ring on her belly button, get her to look in the mirror, and ask her if the whole image (not just the ring) looks any good. If she is a bit confused, do the same test and get her to walk on a tread mill for the full quaking effect.

hey so what if she is overweight!! she can get any piercing she wants!! but if you are worried maybe just say politely um are you sure that you really want a belly piercing,it draws a lot of attention to your stomach!

I think that if she really wants one she should get one. One benifit would be that she might try to slim down just to show it off, thats what i did, and i love it

i think if she wants it done she should get it done and she shouldnt listen to wat any1 has to say cos its her body and by having it done she mite feel more confident in herself and body!!
