Factor
(4x+1)(5x-3) =0
4x+1 = 0
4x = -1
x= -1/4
or
5x-3=0
5x=3
x=3/5

I guess you held the shift button typing '+' instead of '=' by mistake. I think you mean:
20x^2 - 7x - 3 = 0
20x^2 + 5x - 12x - 3 = 0
5x(4x + 1) - 3(4x + 1) = 0
(4x + 1)(5x - 3) = 0
x = -1/4, 3/4
-1/4 and 3/5 are the two values of x that will satisfy this equation.

If it's 20x^2-7x-3=0,
(4x+1)(5x-3)=0
4x+1=0 or 5x-3=0
Therefore x= -1/4 or x=3/5
