Tips on talking about something that happened to you?

Any tips on how to tell a good personal story, like in one-on-one conversations? (Not a practiced, memorized story to a group but more spur of the moment)

Just try to prepare yourself a mental outline and stick to it. Follow the sequence of events. Keep to the story-don't get sidetracked and try to be as descriptive and detailed as you can so that people dont have questions. Pax - C.
