Are you going through anything stressful at the moment? Sometimes when we're stressed, our hormones change. Or have you changed your diet? Any type of change to your body at all, can throw off your hormones, and cause you to skip your period for a month or longer. Also, it could be because you think there's something wrong. Just like when someone has sex, and they think they could be pregnant. Their body starts to play tricks on them. They start feeling different, and their period is late as well. Maybe you should relax, and not think about it. You're probably fine. But if you don't get it soon, maybe you should go to the doctor. An obgyn. I know my sister went through the same thing (all though she was trying to get pregnant at the time) and the doctor gave her a hormone pill. It balanced out her hormones (or something like that), and she had her period shortly after. Good luck, and just try not to worry so much.

it could be a variety of things.... I have always had irregular periods. I found out that mine was the result of a variety of factors. For one, I had a Thyroid problem...you may want to ask your doctor to do some blood work to check your Thyroid Levels. Another reason, I had irregular menstral cycles was because I suffer from PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome)... my body doesnt ovulate. I had to be put on medication in order to get pregnant. And Stress can also cause you to miss your period. It sounds like you are kind of stressing out about it, so maybe if you relax it will come. If you are a virgin and have engaged in no sexual activity, you dont have to worry about becomming pregnant.
It may be a good idea to see your doctor, and it will probably make you feel better.
Hope that this helps...
Best of Luck!!

this could be because of several reasons. I too had irregular periods and when I finally went to a doctor for it, found out two thing...i had thyroid problems along with polycystic ovarian disease/syndrome (PCOS). for my hormones, they just leveled up by themselves....
For the PCOS, i am taking birth control pills for it so that I have periods regularly. the symptoms for this include extra hair growth, ie lots of facial hair etc, gaining weight...
so i would suggest that u go see a gynecologist for this and possibly an endocrenologist as well.
good luck and don't worry too much about it...as long as u go see some doctor.
