I loved the movie. Historically inaccurate, but that happens.
I recommend it to all my friends to see, but I'm 21. I won't let my step sis go see it and she's 13, it's VERY bloody. A lot of gore and beheading. I'd suggest 16 and up, but if you have a very mature younger teen or one that's not going to freak out at all the blood, it could be younger.
It's a traditional Greek Tragedy. All about strength and never giving up. Not to mention it has a voice over that kind of explains the parts that need explaining so you're not totally confused during the movie. It has a very good message i think, but deff not for the weak stomached.

I am 31- i LOVED it! I would take my 14 year old if she was liking those types of movies. Tons of action, not too much nudity, no swearing, and a lot of great visuals. I would say it is a definite 10 and cannot wait till it gets to DVD!

United States tries to “humiliate” Iran in order to reverse historical reality and “compensate for its wrongdoings in order to provoke American soldiers and warmongers” against Iran.
the political overtones of the West-against-Iran story line — and the way Persians are depicted as decadent, sexually flamboyant and evil in contrast to the noble Greeks.

It is a good film, but if the teens can ahndle the sexual content and the violence, it is very entertaining

This movie is NO MORE historical than "Titanic".

It is a COMIC BOOK (oh, okay.."graphic novel") adaptation.

Let's get a grip (by the way, "Rose" and "Jack" weren't real people on the Titanic).
