Plastic eggs because it is so hard to keep track of the real eggs. If you are like me than you will find the real eggs weeks later rotten and smelling everything up.-L

Hide the Plastic eggs filled with coins. One special egg with $20.

The real eggs are turned into cascarones---> Just the egg shell with a small portion of the top broken off. It is dried then filled wiht confettii and the broken off part is covered in a tissue paper (glued on)
we then run around and crack them on eachothers heads!
It's Fun!

We hide the plastic eggs filled with treats.
We boil and color some real eggs, but
we do not hide them--those are for eating!

Plastic. Have you ever smelled those eggs that weren't found a couple weeks after Easter? But my kids do eat the real ones we color...

Hide the plastic ones but boil and color real ones for deviled eggs.

Plastic eggs with money and candy inside are hidden.
I don't like to use real eggs to hide, because it's wasting food.

a traditional hunt would be dyed hard boiled eggs.

Now you can use plastic eggs with toys or wrapped chocolate eggs , whatever works for you.

I always hid boiled eggs. Plastic just don't feel the same.
