bought blazer like 2 months ago and had remote start and alarm installed by friend everything was fine but then like a month ago the rear back glass pops open by itself like in the middle of nite like a ghost or something and when im driving too and starting the car up could it be the wiring from the alarm and remote he didnt do the alarm and remote start rite or is there another problem.please help me

if i take the fuse out of rear window can i still open latch with the key

I am going to take a stab at your rear hatch window is also electric. If so your alarm system is throwing a current to the locking mechanism to cause it to actuate the unlock assembly. Take the fuse out to the rear window and see if that changes things. If so then you know your tapped into that system some where.

i own a shop and you might have a problem with other signals causing this to happen to it ,my neighbors TV remote was setting my alarm off,every time he turned his tv on,my alarm went off,yours could be a similar problem also,or even a shorted out wire on it,anything is possible,good luck hope this helps.

there is a ground or hot wire sharing the same space or connector. or the grounds are not good so it uses the gound for the switch. should be the same as the door locks. that is the ground is the same. and power for locks. same fuse.

It could also be a defective or misaligned latch.
