Terence Jay - One Blood
In the far away fires
Where the hills forever burn
At the feet of our heroes
We try hard to learn
But the lesson is lost there
In the smoke and the mud
That we are one flesh, one breath, one life, one blood
I stood by the river
That ran red with shame
I stood in the killing fields
Where death had no name
I stood with my brothers
And away it flood
And we were one flesh, one breath, one life, one blood
Then I felt to the ground
Tasted ashes on my tongue
Thinking that only the dead
Are forever young
There was peace in the twilight
And for a moment among
It was a world without danger
A world without war
And I will take all your suffering
It will do any good
Cause we are one flesh, one breath, one life, one blood

Natural Born Killers alllllll the way! Natural Born Killers is really well directed, the camera angles, the sit-com vibes when it's showing you Mallory's home life and the way it's sort of light-hearted, whilst at the same time, a really heavy subject (serial muderising!) I love Woody Harrelson in this, and it's the first movie I'd ever seen with Juliette Lewis who is one of the best actresses of the last 10 years in my esteemed opinion. Also Downey Junior's descent into insanity when documenting the prison escape is both funny and captivating. Green Street is ALRIGHT, nothing special though. Parts of it I liked, parts of it I didn't care for. I've watched it more than once and I'll probably watch it again in the future but it's never going to get in my top 50 films (although that list doesn't exist... yet). Boondock Saints I haven't seen - I had told myself it was a movie about American football...? But I googled it just now and it actually looks like my kinda film; maybe I'll order it now for next week! BQ: Cloverfield, really didn't like this movie, aliens attacking earth can either be done really, really well (War of The Worlds) or really badly. I thought this seemed too amateur (which I'm sure was intentional) but more amateur dramatics than amateur/realistic. BQ2: The Warriors - really cheesy, tacky film but I had the playstation game when I was about 10 so when I got round to watching the movie I already loved it. Warriorssssss, come out to play-ay!
