That link doesn't seem to be working, but if you haven't even bought the bass yet, you really should try it out before upgrading it. If you have got the bass, then what is it that you don't like about the pickups it has?
After looking at the auction, I'm not sure it would be a great idea to invest alot in this bass. Most decent pickups would cost as much as the bass did or more, and if you're just starting out you probably won't notice much of a difference. This should be a decent set-up to start with, so I'd recommend that you play it for awhile before considering an upgrade.

This is a common issue for new players.
Don't start thinking about changing anything until you have had a chance to play the thing.
