If I'm applying to Ivy League schools, which would look better on my application: Calculus II and III, completed through GA Tech, or AP Spanish, completed at my high school? I'm a junior right now, currently in Spanish 4 Honors and AP Calculus BC. I don't have room for both math and spanish next year, so I was wondering which one would look more impressive. Thank you for your help!

My vote is for Calculus if you are fairly certain that you will do well. Many university students struggle with Calculus and if you can show them that you can do well in it in high school, it will go a long way. Mean while, Spanish is more of an elective that a student can choose not to take, unless of course, that is his or her major.

Depends on what you want to major in...if you are going to do something with math, like me, I would do the spanish so you can get it out of the way and not have to worry about it in college. If you are doing another specialty I would get the math out of the way.
