I bought a package of M&M's today and when I opened them half of the candies were ok, but the other half had W's on them and were defective. Do you think they are still ok to eat?

I wouldn't, I had the same problem a few days ago I got a jar of cherries and the safty lid was poped, I didn't go to the store someone went for me, I wish they would have checked before buying!

Keep shaking the bag up, and only eat the ones that come out as "M"s. You don't know where the "W"s have been.

oh NO! you should definately take them back to the store and demand your money back. then I would report it to your local newspaper. then i would sue, dont worry lesser suit have won.
