While Gore flys on private planes, which lets out a ton more carbon dioxide per person than if he were to fly commercial, he is still trying to influence people to help out, I know it is contradictory, but he is convincing so many people to do good that it outweighs his bad.

Not certain of the point in bashing Gore . If you don't believe in Global Warming, & I'm not convinced myself , just ignore him!! Why not ask if he recycles the water at his home for Gosh sake!!
I've been trying to be environmentally "friendly" for over 40 years (before it was popular) But if I drive 20 miles to work , & you only drive 5 miles are you morally superior?
No offense my friend, just trying to understand your goal!
