This is a necessary war. Radical Islam has one agenda, and one agenda only.........to make the entire world Islamic. They are instructed by the Qu'ran to kill Jews, Christians, and non-Muslims. That is their goal. And they will continue to do so until the rest of the world takes this seriously and takes the fight to them once and for all.

I dont like it at all.
However Americans must remember we were the ones attacked... and it was unprovoked by us. Radical Islam terrorists will fight to the death... and will continue to fight us to the death... even if we cease fighting. (as this is their way to guaranteed eternal paradise) This is a new kind of war that we have never faced before. (if a Muslim dies for the sake of Islam, which the written goal of Islam is to make the world total Islam, you go to the land of milk and honey).
I can not understand why one would follow a man such as Mohammed who was a child molestor (eight year old wife)... something is terribly wrong with Islam. The terror is a real aspect of our lives today... in the sense it is being directed at us and will continue to be. Even if we get out of the mideast... this is the thing we must get into out heads .... they are out to get us no matter what. They do not understand peaceful talks and communication- they only understand terrorism... it is the way the radical Islamics have been raised. My God, do you remember seeing the three year old Palastinain baby with the exposives wrapped around its body??? What is going on with these people? Not just the Palestinian radicals but all of the terrorist type radicals. May God help them and us.

Americans will decide the war against terrorism is valid once it hits us on our own soil again... how sad for the saying.... 'how soon we forget'. ... and it will happen again... they have done a good job with our homeland security so far... yet it is known fact that the terrorist cells are working right here within our own society... It is not a matter of IF but a matter of WHEN.

A book to read- 'Unveiling Islam' which was authored by two Islamic scholars that left Islam. They tell the truth of the religion... both the good and the bad. This book is worthwhile to read and an easy read if you really would like to get to some of the bottom lines about what is going on that makes these terrorists so hate filled.

The "war on terrorism" is a scam. Worse than the "war on poverty" and the "war on drugs." because people are dying for this fallacy.

Terror is not a state. Terror is not a person. Terror is an emotion. Who is responsible for your emotions? You are.

Declaring a "war on terror" is just a transparently cheap and phony way for an inadequate president to pretend that he is a "wartime pressident" with power to take away our liberties.

A "noble cause". Yeah, right. That's why your own daughters are down at the recruiting station, right George? A total scam.

The American people are finally coming to see through this phony.

Oh wait - you said "terrorism", not "terror". Well, terrorism is a tactic, not an enemy. Only an idiot would declare "war" on a tactic - or believe a fool in the White House who tries to con them with his rhetoric about it.

The media is either slanted way left or way right. I have no basis on which to make a good decision about how I feel. This is what I know however:
There's tons of violence in Iraq (commited by Muslims)
There have been no attacks in the US since 9/11

Anyone who has an "opinion" has been washed by one side or the other on this issue.

And that's the truth.

What war on terrorism? If our president had room for another term, that would just be his platform on his re-election campaign. As such, he must have some other ulterior motive going on in that mind(?) of his that I have yet not deduced.
