LOL the bozo that says he is a mechanic didn't tell you diddly. Some mechanic. First and foremost find the parts you need,. List goes like this

1, Tranny
2, clutch peddle assembly, that includes slave cylinder
3, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, Pilot bearing
4, The computer to change from the computer from automatic to stick,
5, drive shaft.
6, cross member
7, floor shifter counsel.
8, steering column for a stick.
9, and perhaps a buddy with a little more experience.

Alot of motivation! A "cherry-picker" (engine hoist), a helper, some sheet metal cutting tools for adding the clutch master cylinder and pedal, and you may have to modify the floor to fit the shift linkage. You might consider replacing the whole drive train (engine and trans together as one assembly) for ease of installation. This is a big job! Make sure you really need to do it before you tackle it!

i own a repair shop, and basically everything, you need a real good parts car to do this with, its so expensive if you try it one piece at a time it isn't worth doing it to,if you can find a good parts car that has all this it will be a lot easier to do,its almost impossible to find every single piece that you need to do this with because the junk yards have been picked over really good these days, good luck i hope this helps.
