Yes. It was made by Sony and Called "Walkman"....
I was only slightly larger than the audio cassettes it played. The walkman brand is still alive, but it is a MP3 player now.

Yep, it was called "The Big Bulky CD Player Walkman Era" - my cd player kept skipping whenever I'd run, plus I had a ton of CD's I'd have to carry around with me! (lol!)
