I have used Virgin Mobile with a Kyocera phone. Good service depending on area; however can be costly if your taking a lot of calls. I am in the Santa Cruz area lots of trees and mountains.

eh it's cheap but you never get reception unless you are on a highway or in a big city. Cingular is better overall, although you have to pay a little more.
