How do they plan to do this without raising tax rates? And, without breaking their campaign pledges not to raise taxes?
Inquiring minds would like to know.

democrats need to change their name to the new socialist party. just get it over with and raise the tax rate to 40% like most socialist contries do and then take over all the social programs so we can loose free enterprise and have government control of all facets of social standards. as for one persons comment about "your children and my children footing the bill plus interest", all I have to say is SPARE ME!!!!
I had to listen to that crapola when I was in school back in the 80's and the deficit reached over it's first billion. everyone thought the world was going to end when that happened. that and the federal budget was still under 1 trillion dollars a year, if you weren't there you missed all the fan fair that came out when the first trillion dollar budget was presented by congress. did you know that if you stack 1 trillion 1 dollar bills on top of each othe it would reach the moon. theres a gem I got from the 80's. it took 4 years to fix it last time and it can be done again without skyrocketing taxes. congress needs to stop with all thier spending sprees and get it under control.

There isn't a Democrat on this planet who keeps their word. ( Or any politician for that matter! ) They promise you no tax increases until they get into office, and then they come up with every reason under the sun to raise your taxes. Yep, I expected this. More money out of my paycheck. Thanks to all the Dems for making my paycheck a whole heckuva lot smaller.

Of course the exponentially increased military spending due to the decisions of previous Republican chambers, not to mention the sitting President, had nothing to do with the taxes. How very American of you to defecate on the floor, and then pretend someone else did it, complaining as loudly as you can.

You sit in a sinking ship of state, arguing whose duty it is to work the pump. The passengers would leave you both behind if they could find another crew.

First, there is no such campaign pledge.

Second, the details haven't been worked out.

But if cons don't like it, keep in mind that it wouldn't be necessary if your "Decider" and the GOP Congress hadn't squandered hundreds of billions of dollars.

Or do you just want to leave it for our (and your) children to foot the bill-plus interest?
