Will I be able to export to Appleworks database?

The easiest way is with Microsoft Access:
http://office.microsoft.com/access/
It can export to several formats, but I don't think Appleworks is one. It's more likely AppleWorks can import Microsoft Access database files. Even if it cannot, you can always export to simple formats like Excel, XML, or a delimited text file, which any DB program can easily import.
