Does it really sound that crazy? I just means that I'm surprised/shocked and like OMG I'm on glue! What do you think? If someone said that to you what would you think of them?

rubbed off on me from a friend in college who used to say that...its like a pleasant surprise kind of thing...its been a habit but i try to stop myself now...

If you said that I'd take it that you literally are on glue. It doesn't make sense in any other way. Is that something that you made up? I'd find something different.

I would laugh.I have a friend who plays in a band,during a break he'll say"We'll be back,we're going to sniff some glue".We know they don't.

I would think you were trying to play off a "stupid" move... like woops my bad, "I''m on glue"... I never would have though of it as a "polite" way to say oh my god....
