DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line. It allows one to surf the web, via the home's existing Phone line. The service provider supply you with a DSL Modem. It sends digital signals through the phone line, in a frequency that we humans can not hear. This way you can use your telephone and talk to some one , while some one is using the Internet at the same time. DSL is also considered or referred to Broad Band. Hope this helps. Will.
