I think there is.. One reason of him stayin on american idol is because he is Gay.. Yes you can already tell.. Maybe you already noticed but hes not a good singer.. Actually hes horrible.. Specially the last performance last night he was basically screaming.. Comon.. and I believe that the girl that was crying for him was there for a reason.. She loves him you seen her poor her eyes out for Sanjaya but when it came time to judge you notice none of the judges sayd a bad thing.. probably not to upset her? I donno.. but hes a crappy singer and the only reason hes still there is because someone keeps on dialing and spending there time voting for him.. what do you think?

Yes, it's a conspiracy.
There's a website, I think it's votefortheworst.com... where thousands of people get together and vote for the worst idol. This year, it just so happens to be Sanjaya.
On top of that, he's also developed quite a fan base. So, put those 2 things together and that's why he ranks near the top, percentage wise on AI every week.

IF Sanjaya is gay, he's not the first for American Idol. So I disagree with you there.
He IS a horrible singer and last night was his worst, EVER.
I don't think the little girl was just crying over Sanjaya. She seemed, to me, to be crying during the entire show.
Simon said he thought the expression on the little girl's face said it all about Sanjaya's performance. I don't think that was a compliment. Usually when kids cry, it's cause they're sad or scared. So I think Simon was saying that Sanjaya scared (or made her sad) with the performance. I took his comment as sarcasm and a very negative comment.
I don't get why he's still on the show. He's bad and he's got terrible hair. Everyone that I have talked to about him does not like him. I wish I could find someone who does vote for him.

I think the system is kinda fool-proof, at least for most people anyway.
I think it's because of his innocent look and personality that makes people like him. It is a singing competition but what can you do, its the viewers who vote and what makes them likes a person has to do with more than just his/her singing attitude.
As far as I can tell, he's not egoistic, very naive, doesn't talk much and not arrogant. A person could sing well but if he/she is very arrogant and always thinks the judges are wrong when given a negetive comment, its not going to go down well with the viewers, people won't like them and no one's going to vote for them.

i just cant stand the sight of him and the little girl made a fool out
of herself i bet she gets picked on at school for that !!!
I was embarrassed for her, the family may of set that one up
