No, just wash them in warm water w/ something like clorox or clorox 2 depending on if it's colored, of course you use the clorox 2 for colors

Ok, ok. Hot water and then drying in a hot dryer kills almost everything. Drying outside in the sun does a pretty good job too.

I usually don't mix them unless I use bleach. But I also use listerine in the washing water to double kill whatever may be lurking. In fact I normally only use listerine for all my clothes with the detergent. It comes out cheaper than bleach alternative.

are you telling us your sock's are dirtier ,then your underwear?
you have problem's if that's the case ,in my opinion they both dirty ,but its fine to wash together .

add a cup of bleach when you wash them, if they are all white, or just wash them in hot water
