I was on craigslist and now when i type in the search bar "craigslist" and the list comes up , i click on it and it then tells me "this page cannot be displayed". however , i don't have any problems bringing up any other sites.

did craigslist ban my id?

if so,
how do I change my ip address?

most ISP's do not offer by default a fixed IP. usually you have to pay more to get this service. if you're on DSL or cable modem, try resetting your modem. most likely you will get assigned a new IP.

usually when CL blocks your ip you'll get an error page saying "this IP XXXXXXX has been autoblocked, blah blah". so i don't think "page cannot be displayed" is a block.

An IP address is un-changable, unless you go to a different service providor. I dought that they banned your IP.

Spyware can block sites and cause that behavior. Run the Norton Spyware from the Y! Toolbar. That should do it.
