i had to go on a family trip from VA to north dakota, not the most fun place ever but the scenery was amazing! especially around wyoming and south dakota going down the wide country roads. the only down side was no restrooms for about 40 miles.

We do it every year!
Chicago to South Dakota, then to Arizona, from there to California, then off to Las Vegas, and then back to Chicago.
Its a tradition, we don't even need a map, we know where we are going to stay, and we have made many of friends along the way.

YES!!! we drove from san diego to altoona (some little town in PA)... it was so much fun!!! we saw the scariest things in missouri (no offense) but for some reason there are adult shops in almost every truck stop!!! *winks*... my next road trip is san diego to nyc...... here i come!

I've driven across country three times. I prefer going east to west. Just when things get really boring, you hit the southwest which is beautiful.

Maryland to San Diego twice.
San Diego to Maryland twice.

Portland, Or. to Myrtle Beach, SC.... kind of a drive for a beach....and I almost got killed by a thunderstorm in Illinois along the way.

I drove from Washington D.C. to San Diego,Ca when i got my transfer orders.It was great,i didn't get to see much because i had a certain time to be there.Would love to do it again.

Yes, As a truckdriver, many times...even to Alaska. It is still awesome.
