I really need help with downloads (like clothes and stuff) Please help !!!!!!!! I have a lot of things already downloaded but how do i get them on my game. my e-mail adress is red_angel116@yahoo.com

Once you have it downloaded, make sure to install it on your game using Package Installer. (I believe it is called that.)
It comes with the game, and let's you get things onto the actual game. Also, if you have it on your game, and it isn't showing up may be because it needs a mesh.

So, if this is your first time downloading, you need to create a "Downloads" folder. This "Downloads" folder needs to be named exactly Downloads.To create a folder, right click on your desktop, the click new and choose the folder option. You need to put this folder in My Documents/Ea Games/Sims 2. Then put all of your downloads in that "Downloads" folder. Your all set to go, but there is one thing. Unless you have a killer system, don't expect to get tons of downloads. They really slow down my computer.

I have over 31000 downloads! lol
All the stuff you downloads goes into your Downloads folder mydocuments/eagames/sims2/Downloads
But sometimes files comes with a collection file which has to be in your collection folder (great for your objects).
Houses goes into your lot catalog which you have to rename. Just copy & paste a lot name and change the number.
The best way to handle all your downloads is by using the clean installer, you will find it in the links below.
