It seems a bit comical but do they do a good job at reporting U.S news and politics?

As long as you remember they have their own slant, sure. All news programs deliver news with an agenda, so why not pick your favorite? I always try and take my news with a grain of salt.

You watch a comedian to get your scoop on the world news? Now that is LOL funny!
They are both slanted to the left but at least Jon Stewart roasts the liberal side as well when the Clinton's, Obama or Kennedy, as usual, stick their foot in their mouths.
I would make sure you watch, for a week, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC to see how they "spin" the stories. I would also give you advice, but you may have to hold your nose, and listen to Sean Hannity, Laura Ingram, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh (the blowhard) and Micheal Savage on radio and see how the right spins it. I used to watch the ABC news when I was in my 20's and then CNN. I do not watch any of those shows now for I see their bias against America and their socialist agenda. I mainly listen to radio now for a better coverage. If you have not seen the new Glen Beck show on CNN, you will laugh, cry and by annoyed all at the same time. Always look for other alternatives in looking for the real stories out there. And have an open mind!

No, its a comedy show. I listen to the BBC, because most American source is horible. Even the BBC is bias. I use to watch Night line and CNN. CNN has decayed since Ted Turner stop ruinning it and I haven't seen much of Night line lately. SOme of the business news are good though. Businessman I found prefer painful truth than flattering lies.

They do provide some news reports, but I wouldn't rely on them as your only source for news, just for playful commentary on the news

Neither one of them knows what is going on in the real world. If they are your news sources, you are sadly out of the loop of things. These two jerks are so busy kissing their own butts they are clueless. Sell your TV.
