I can't remember correctly but I think tone and gestures are more effective in conveying communication. Something like that. If someone understands what I'm getting at, can they clarify this?

Well,
if you consider all the things that you have listed within your post and then add to that the factor that a lot of people KNOW is true--- that---Actions Speak Louder Than Words --- you can make a major case for the 50% theory elluded to here and possibly press that figure upward somewhat !!!

The truth is that people express thier feelings ang thoughts with thiere entire body. Starting from your blood flow and pressure and number of heart beats per seconds. Then your mind maps your feelings to muscels (facial is the most visable), then your limbs. Though social conditioning most people learn how to surpress these visual indicators, but they are still there if you know what to look for. Ther was a book called "learn to read anyone like a book". I love it but that was 10 years ago.

I think it is more. My job involves quite a bit of interfacing with clients. With clients, what you don't say can impress them more than what you do manage to say. Gestures and positive body language has won over more people than smooth talking. That's because the other person also gets a lot of subconscious signals from our body. It would do a world of good if we channeled our body language to express what we verbalize.

Yes, body langage says a lot more than words.

For instance if someone says they are not mad and clicks their mouth and turns in a "huff", you know the words don't communicate the real feeling.

Or if someone says they would love to go shopping with you and then you catch them rolling their eyes, ha ha.
