We planted 29 small pine trees but the children where we live and their dogs are killing off the trees. So we have decided to build a fence. The poles will be 6 feet tall, then the fence will have to be built on them. Anyone got any ideas how to do this? This fence will just behind the trees. To keep the children and dogs from walking through the trees. Thanks.

Buy the fence in sections they usually come in 4 or six foot lengths when installing remember to leave room for the roots of the tree's to grow over the years without uprooting your fence posts

Home improvement stores now sell fencing in sections - that is if you are trying to build a wooden fence. All you need to do is set the posts in concrete and attach the panels (that are about 5' to 6' wide) to the posts. Home Depot or Lowe's carries them. They probably also have free classes where you can learn how to set the poles properly. If you need any special tools/saws/etc. they also rent those for a nominal fee.
