Yes I do.
I believe that decisions regarding any type of medical treatment, including suicide, are up to the individual. As long as the decision is being made rationally, and not based on some mental imbalance, then it should be up to the individual to choose.
Also remember that assisted suicide is different than euthanasia. With euthanasia, someone else performs the fatal act. With assisted suicide, the doctor just provides a clean and efficient means.

Absolutely. The state "terminally ill" says it all. If a person is ill, sufferering, with no chance to get better, they should not be forced to wait it out in an undignified manner. This should be a matter of personal choice. Whether we, as a society can justify suicide or not, it is an option for all of us, when we are under our own control. I am by no means advocating this freedom. However, under the care of a hospital, when no measures are left to be taken, this option should be even more readilly available. To deny someone the choice of ending their own life, in a situation where they suffer from a terminal illness is criminal. It is to impose a belief system upon a person. One should be able to use their own perception of life, death, and morals to make this decision.

THOU SHALL NOT "KILL" and "assisted" suicide is not for Law Makers to Decide. While this may sound insensitive, the Lord GOD, has a way of dealing with a persons suffering. In that persons suffering can we not learn about How to ease the pain and/or suffering, and make that person comfortable until the Lord calls them home? Or do we continue to place a "Value" on a persons life. One big Lesson to be learned by the Greedy People of this worlds society is No Matter How Much $$$ You Have, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU!! If todays Medical Professionals weren't so cacooned with their Narrow Minded thought of $$$$, and gave more passion to their "Oath" we could have a pretty healthy society. But No, everyone has the mindset, "That's NOT MY Problem", and pass the buck. In Short, NO! Killing People because they don't have $$ is a SIN, a GOD shall reward accordingly.
GOD BLESS/GOOD LUCK!!

No, but at the same time I don't believe in heroics to keep a person alive for as long as possible. If a disease is terminal, they should just withhold medical care with the exception of pain relief. There is no reason that doctors should be assisting patients in dying in any fashion. Their job is strictly to keep patients alive and well not kill them.

When you are absolutely sure that there is nothing more that can be done to retrieve the ailing person and give him/her life without too much suffering and disabilities, yes, the terminally ill person should be assisted to terminate the life of misery and illness!

Yes.
Because I took care of, and watched, both my mother and my sister die long, agonizing deaths from cancer, that's why.
