I know. if you don't support this war or war in general then you shouldn't have to fight and you shouldn't be made to feel guilty for not fighting

A lot of republicans DO enlist. And please remember that when this war started, the democrats were behind it too. Republicans just have more will to finish the job.

they might enlist, but the things is that you have to be in good health and cant have a lot of problems. Someone got honorably discharged because he got asthma.

Considering that 80% of our Officer Corps describe themselves as either conservative or Republican, I think it's safe to say they have.

Some Republicans have to stay and be policemen, available to beat protesting hippies at a moments notice.
