I just took the english yesterday, math today. I found it to be ridiculously easy. Here are some sample questions:

1. what does the word dynamic mean in this sentence?
2. What is a better word for KID in this sentence
a) child
b) little human
c) tyke
d) tiny person
3. what is 9 x (-4)
4. what is 6-7

I swear those were word for word what was on the test. I know believe that if you can't pass that test, you don't deserve to graduate high school.

Yes the essay was about how a building has character.

How stupid. By the middle of mine I wanted to throw up. I'm in honors english so I'm used to writing about a little tougher things than this lol.

We have the same thing here and yes, it's a sad and pathetic joke. Too bad it's on the tax payers and the "graduating" seniors. Sadly, it doesn't end there. I had to take one in college as well. I went to the U of So. Alabama...

Remember, this is a test of the BASIC skills you should have by the time you graduate high school. The test is not aimed at higher level thinking. Basically, if you can't pass this, you don't deserve a high school diploma.

Good thing you found it easy!

Well, to those kids who come from families where English isn't their first language it isn't a funny joke. That's what the test's aim is at, the disadvantaged. But I get your point, I passed it the first time too with over a hundreth points than those required. Easy.

Though I didn't take it, I heard from one of my teacher that this test is the basics of what you need to know in order to get though life. I think that's why you take the test. I took a "pre-test" of it and it seemed pretty simple.
