The only way to win a cricket match is that you should have well balanced team with experience, mentally & pshycaly fit, Sporting attitude.
Criket is not on luck 90% it is very much depending on the mental steadyness. but beating Sri Lanka is not going to be easy at all.
India will learn their game after facing the Sri Lankans.

It would be a tough match and India is at a disadvantage due to their dismal performance against Bangladesh in the first match. Even luck is not favouring us, maybe had the selectors selected ganguly as captain we might have had some luck, as per the past records. The cricketers are also under extreme pressure as the selectors have, in the past few years, become very high handed and threaten the very existence of the players if they have a small spell of bad performance. The body language and general view of the Indian cricketers is overcautious and lack of dashingness, which is very essential element of the game. They really have to put a tremendous effort and superhuman will to win this match, under great odds.

On any given day as per the performance any team can win, but with a little bit of luck also. Australia had for the last 8yrs dominated world cricket. India is going through some bad luck due to suspect form of Sehwag & the bowlers, but if our boys can give their best shot they can even win the WC like in 1983.
All the best to all participating teams

Everybody can win, but condition they should have the luck. As Australia had for the last 5-6 yrs. I feel in today's world 95% is luck & 5 % is hardwork. Well India is going through some badlucks, but if our boys can give their best shoot & play from heart they can even win the WC.
Best of luck to all the teams & sorry for Pakistan.

Well it s possible but India will have to put up a spirited display. The Sri lankans have the best all round bowling attack in this world cup with three quality seam bowlers in Vaas, malinga and maharoof and the best possible spinner in Murali with support from jayasuriya. So india have to play out of their Skins to beat Sri lanka.

Yes, India can. We have Saurav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, who are as good as Jayasuriya. Sehwag too has come back to form. And I am sure the bowlers will give in their best. So, India has a fair chance. It may seem difficult, but it is certainly not impossible.

Honestly NO !! Just like Pakistan, india's gonna have to start packing their bags !!

I'm an india fan but I think we've messed it up. The match with SL is gonna be tough. I watched SL play and they're pretty good. I doubt that we're gonna make it to the next round but whatever...

for a game we need a well balanced team comprising of good fielder, bowler and batsmen and a good and well experienced captain who knows the game plan and has a cool head. yes India can win as we have a well balanced team a good skipper who has his head cool in time of crisis and they should work hard and the only thing is that they should not underestimate weaker teams which cost us the victory against Bangladesh
