I am all for toned bodies as have done weight training myself for the past 20 years. I think that some of the body builders tend to go that bit too far as you can have a nice toned body without stepping over that line and ending up looking like a freak. I was asked to enter a womens body building competition when I was younger but didn't as it didn't appeal to me. At the time I was quite toned but no way anything like some of the women and I wouldn't want to be.
