Yea, I wanted to be a pychologist but it isn't that great. You need a masters to get any decent job with that. Just go get her a pychology book from any university and have her read it.

Encouage her. Give her all the best opportunities for education that you can afford. Maybe find some books at your local library about the study of psychology. She's young yet... what she wants to do might change many times before she's ready to actually make that decision.

Take her to walmart for people watching. AHAHAHA
But seriously… I don’t think you should start introducing her to a bunch of theory and BS, she can learn the words, but won’t have a frame of reference to understand them. She needs to learn people, other people and herself. She needs to learn who she is, how people see her; she needs to learn confidence and objectivity. She needs to see people of all different persuasions and situations; as unpleasant as it is she needs to suffering as well as joy. Then she will have a lot to think about, she will be exposed to a broad spectrum of what human psychology can cause.
She should volunteer, more to get her into poor and repressed communities. She should probably go to different churches and political organizations and talk to the people there. She should try to get into something that ‘teaches’ her leadership.

Maybe you and her can research Freud, Bandura, Adler, etc. to gain some background knowledge.
She will need a master's or a Ph.D. to be able to counsel. A Ph.D to be a "psychologist".

make sure it's a good idea.
Many feel that people study psychology in order to defend pathology, espeically their own.
A good, rounded, compassionate education is always in order.
