Yes, esp when I was pregnant and they wanted to touch my belly. Oh man how that freaked me out! I almost slapped one woman cause she did after I said no! The nerve of some people!

Only if they're someone I don't know who is touchy-feely with me. I handle them by walking away quickly. I'm a touchy-feely person myself, but I don't do that with strangers, only friends.

touchy-feely women don't creep me out, i guess because i had a great auntie like that, so i understand it's just in some ppl's nature

but with men! ...

if anyone makes me feel uncomfortable, whether with words or body language ... i let them know.

What do you mean touchy feely?? physically or emotionally? I am uneasy when someone goes to hug me or touch my arm or sumthin...and OMG! If they try to kiss my cheek or mouth. I was just raised in a home that wasnt affectionate...so I am weirded by it when it happens...deep down tho I dont mind, it just happens very unexpectedly ALL the time

I had a waiter tonight who kept touching me on the shoulder, and it kinda creeped me out, but he was harmless...I don't like to be touched by people I don't know, but some people are just touchers...can it be helped?

If it's someone you know, say something......like mention in conversation that you don't like random people touching you, and maybe they'll get the hint. If they don't, tell them in a kind way, like...I'm not a 'hugger' or close contact makes you uncomfortable....and then dodge and say 'I prefer talking to touching' . I've done it, and it worked for me.

It depends on who the person is I guess as to whether they creep me out. I have more of a problem with people who like to talk to you about an inch away from your face. That is very off putting as you feel yourself slowly inching away.

ah, you could say, "stay the *&%**(& out of my personal space", but seriously, some touchy-feely people either don't even realize what they'e doing or they don't realize that it can make others feel uncomfortable...it if completely acceptable to tell the person something like, "no offense but I don't like being touched", etc etc.

No, touch-feely people actually don't creep me out...if they're my friends! But if i don't know them, than i would be like (Hey, get off me you don't know me like that)

Yes!!! I just throw hot water on them and shoo them away. Just Kidding!!! I try to avoid them. Especially if I know their really a wolf in sheep's clothing. No insult intended to you. If they make me to uncomfortable I will tell them I don't like to be touched by anyone but my husband. I had a male friend to offer to rub my feet or my back for me and I told him no thank you my husband will take care of that for me. No one touches me unless it's my man..
